It was supposed to be just an ordinary afternoon in the suburbs of Warsaw. We were waiting for the bus, having no idea that everything was about to spiral out of control. An innocent mistake became the beginning of something that words can hardly describe. What happened afterwards had nothing to do with the reality we knew. It felt as if someone was pulling invisible strings, dragging us into an unreal world. We must have been pawns in a game whose rules none of us knew, and the stakes were higher than just our lives.
Was it only our bad luck? Hard to say. But if you ever end up there… be careful and don’t let yourself get pulled into their game, because this is no longer a game.
